 Circuit Class Champion

Points follow same horse/same exhibitor combination. The class must

be shown BOTH Saturday and Sunday to count towards total.

Circuit All-Around Champion and Reserve

All Breed ~ 13-U, 14-18, 19-O, 50-O

ABRA ~ Youth, Amateur, Open

Points follow same horse/same exhibitor combination. All classes that

are shown BOTH Saturday and Sunday count for division total.

Must show a minimum of three classes in the division.

 Year-End Class Hi Point and Reserve

will be awarded. If Hi-Point is a tie, no Reserve will be awarded.

Must show in the class at least three times. (Each day counts as one show.)

Year-End Champion and Reserve Champion

will be awarded. If Champion is a tie, no Reserve will be awarded.

Must show at least three classes (and show each class three times) in the division

All Breed Youth 13-U and All Breed Youth 14-18

Points follow same horse/same exhibitor combination. All 'All Breed Youth' age respective classes count for year-end division.

All Breed Adult 19-O and All Breed Adult 50-O

Points follow same horse/same exhibitor combination. All 'All Breed Adult' age respective classes count for year-end division.

ABRA Youth 18-U ~ 13-U Division and 14-18 Division

Points follow same horse/same exhibitor combination. All 'ABRA Youth' classes count for year-end division..

ABRA Amateur

Points follow same horse/same exhibitor combination. All 'ABRA Amateur' classes count for year-end division.

ABRA Open

Points follow horse/any exhibitor. All ABRA open classes count for year-end division.

Triple Race Challenge ~ 18-U and 19-O

Same horse/same rider combination. Year-end combined points in All Breed Barrels, All Breed Pole Bending,

and All Breed Keyhole. Must show all three classes at least three times each to be eligible.

The following classes do not count for a Year-End Champion or Reserve Division.

                                  All Breed Yearling - Points follow horse/any exhibitor.

                                 All Breed Walk Trot - Points follow same horse/same exhibitor combination.

                                 All Breed Equestrians With Disabilities, Lead Line 6-U - Points follow exhibitor/any horse. Can not show any other riding classes.

                                 All Breed Color, 2&3 Yr Old Snaffle Bit, Jr/Sr Western Pleasure - Points follow horse/any exhibitor.

Year-End Award Eligibility

                             1. Horse owner AND exhibitor must be a KBHA member.

                             2. No points will be earned prior to membership fees being paid.

                             3. A $25 class sponsorship is required per membership and must received in the KBHA office by the last day of the July show

                                 to eligible for year-end awards.

                             4. All members are responsible to work two hours or bring one quality bakery item, to be auctioned off at the Warm Up Breaks,

                                 in support of their club!

Show Rules

                             1. The back number follows the horse (not the exhibitor) and should be used at all 2012 KBHA shows.

                             2. Back numbers can be reserved by contacting Brenda Braden at 785-979-7770.

                             3. Scratches at the gate and no shows will not be refunded.

                             4. Class Drop Forms are available in the office and need to be made two classes prior.

                             5. If you are hauling in from another state you must have a current negative Coggins for each horse.

Payment

Cash or a signed check made payable to KBHA is required when entry forms are submitted at the show office. If entries were submitted online you are NOT entered until entries are paid for or a blank signed check is left in the office. There will be a $50 fee on all returned checks.

All Breed Classes

ABRA show and contest rules prevail for all KBHA All Breed classes. Boots and long sleeves are required. All breeds and colors are eligible to show in All Breed classes.

ABRA Classes

Please bring a copy of your horse's ABRA papers and current membership to the show the first time you enter. Make sure your horse is registered in your name or an immediate family member's name if you wish to show in ABRA youth or amateur classes. ABRA amateur memberships may not be renewed or purchased at the show. Owners and exhibitors of ABRA registered horses must be current ABRA members for the horse to be shown in ABRA classes.

American Buckskin Registry Association

A horse that does not qualify for ABRA points will not receive KBHA points in that class either.

AQHA Classes

July 9^th Show Only

Exhibitor must be a current AQHA member and must present either the original or a photo copy of their membership card and AQHA registration papers of the horse. AQHA regular membership, youth and amateur membership may be purchased at the show. Horses shown in youth and amateur competition must be owned by the exhibitor or a member of their immediate family. KQHA memberships and point tabulation can be purchased at show.

AQHA

$12 Entry Fee - $4 Horse/Day AQHA Fee

$6 Per Day Office Fee

Stall Reservations and Additional Information

Stall Reservations must be made at least three days prior to show date
